Fraction collection unit. Tube positioning is accomplished via infrared sensing of gaps in a coded spiral on the underside of each cassette. This unique mechanism assures reliable tube changes independent of tube dimensions. Because of its fast tube change time and automatic pump shutoff during tube changes, the instrument can handle toxic and radioactive samples safely. COLLECTION MODES: Time: 0.1-9.9 minutes in 0.1 minute intervals or 1-99 minutes in 1 minute intervals.
